One of Asia’s largest diamond jewellery manufacturers, exporter and retailer Kama Schachter, recently organised its Annual Sports Meet 2014 in Mumbai. The Sports Meet celebration is part of the company’s Employee Development & Internal Social Responsibility programme and is aimed at fostering team culture among the employees and reinforcing the need for constructive competitiveness and importance of teamwork.%% Kama has nearly 1000 employees working at 3 different locations in Mumbai and Annual Sports Meet is one of the opportunities that bring Kama family together. It is also one of many such events organised by the company in an effort to build interpersonal relationship among employees, promote companionship, commitment and teamwork.%% The event saw participation of more than 850 employees divided in 6 different teams. The event saw a variety of sporting activities like the 100m & 400m free race, Relay Races, Long Jump, Football, Cricket Tournament and even fun games like Tug of War.%% All the senior team members of the organisation including Colin Shah, Managing Director, Kama Schachter were present at the event. “At Kama, we believe in working hard & having fun!! The Annual Sports Meet plays an instrumental role in emphasising the role of teamwork within the organisation.
