The brand to launch 2 experience centres in Mumbai soon

Saroja Yeramilli’s Melorra brand of jewellery which had initially launched as an online retail store now has almost 11 stores within the nation. The brand is set to launch 350 store within the next few years, however this year, the brand is launching 2 stores immediately in Mumbai and a couple of more stores in central India. The company recently celebrated its 6th anniversary and celebrated it with an exciting online contest called ‘The Game of 6.’ This was the brand’s birthday bash with a few teasers about completing 6 tasks to win exciting gifts. Followers were asked to define Melorra using 6 emojis, name 6 collections and choose 6 must-have jewelery pieces from each collection. This was an engaging activity that garnered a fabulous response as per the company. The cherry on the cake was however the data shared over a brand recall video that Melorra posted. The video traced the brand’s evolution over the past 6 years by showcasing the more than 16,000 designs, delivered to over 26,000 pin codes through the 11 experience centers that the brand boasts of today. This organic activity managed to engage their client-base boosting the brand’s social media footprint through responses, followers and tags.

Known for its minimalistic and ready to wear jewellery, the brand launched its physical presence with three outlets in the capital city of Delhi last year. This light-weight, fine jewellery start-up better known for its owner’s ingenious entrepreneurship, opened its first brick-and-mortar store, a women-centric jewellery experience centre in Orion Mall, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru in the December of 2020. That was followed with store launches in Delhi in January, 2021 and Mumbai mid-year. Mellora stores primarily located in malls and high streets across India, range from 500-1,500 sq ft in size and showcase 500 -1000 jewellery designs.
