Helming from the mother brand and well-known jadau jewellery designer Falguni Mehta is Avika Mehta, her daughter who has launched, 'Avika Love, Falguni Mehta.' Avika grew up surrounded with the beauty of jewellery, myriad stones and precious metals. In her formative years, Avika was accustomed to bring in her mother's workshop and travels and on occasions also wearing exquisite jadau pieces for festivities. She always dreamt of incorporating them as an accessory touch in her daily attire which is what inspired her to build her own label which offered an affordable prêt line of jadau jewellery.

The collection comprises quirky, delicate, intricate pieces such as hoops, tennis bracelets and rings which can be worn with your regular shirt or kurta, both with equal ease. Whilst maintaining glimpses of tradition but yet minimalism this collection is an amalgamation of uncut diamonds with 18k gold, a mix of precious-coloured stones and modern designs – a delight for the newer generations of today. “My endeavour is to build on the strong legacy of Falguni Mehta to bring forth the luxury and charm of the old-world jewellery with a modern twist to all ages.
