At the iconic MET Gala in New York, Alia Bhatt made a stunning debut wearing an Atelier Prabal Gurung gown made of ivory silk tulle and satin-face organza, featuring an exaggerated basque waist and hand-beaded pearls. She paired the gown with scintillating diamond jewellery from Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the sixth largest jewellery retailer globally with 310+ showrooms across 10 countries.

Aligned with the theme of the night, 'In honour of Karl', a tribute to the legendary German designer Karl Lagerfeld, Alia, who is also the brand ambassador of Malabar Gold & Diamonds, wore a diamond ring designed by the celebrated jewellery designer Alice Cicolini. The knuckle duster was meticulously handcrafted around a 2.21-carat rose-cut solitaire, surrounded by tapered, baguette, and round diamonds, with a tassel of pearls.

Alia's handcrafted jewellery perfectly complemented her Met Gala gown, which had a long train and every inch of its bodice drenched in pearls. With this debut, Alia added more shine to her already illustrious career in acting and fashion.

After signing up as the new face of Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Alia said, "I am delighted to be the face of a global brand such as Malabar Gold & Diamonds." Malabar Group Chairman, M.P. Ahammed expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating that Alia perfectly represents what they are striving to achieve - crafting, promoting, and selling jewellery that is an intersection of Indian art, culture, tradition, heritage.
