Mia by Tanishq is expanding its presence in smaller towns by launching temporary pop-up stores in locations such as Dindigul and Thanjavur. This initiative aims to provide customers in regions without permanent stores an opportunity to experience and purchase the brand's jewellery, while also allowing Mia to test new markets ahead of its planned expansion
Mia by Tanishq is set to launch a series of pop-up stores in smaller towns such as Dindigul and Thanjavur, aiming to bring its jewellery collections to customers in locations where establishing permanent stores may not be viable. These temporary stores will operate for a week at various venues, offering local consumers a unique opportunity to explore and purchase Mia’s signature jewellery pieces.
Sanjay Bhattacharjee, Head of Retail at Mia by Tanishq, shared that this initiative allows the brand to test new markets and assess consumer demand before committing to permanent retail locations. Currently, Mia operates 216 stores nationwide, with 27 in Tamil Nadu and 15 in Chennai. The brand is also eyeing significant growth, with plans to expand its footprint to 300 stores by March 31, 2026.
