The highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated reveal of the colossal emerald, sourced decades ago from the legendary Ural mines. Retaining its pristine octahedral form, the gemstone stood as a testament to Nanagram's dedication to preserving nature's rare treasures. Shri Subhash Jain, patriarch of Nanagram Fine Jewels, dedicated the emerald to Maharaja Jai Singh II, underscoring its historical significance. Jain shared a captivating anecdote about repeated offers from Russian buyers, all declined to preserve the family's prized gem.
