The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) held a special Hindi language initiative across its offices nationwide, aiming to boost the use of Hindi in official communication among its employees
Organised by the Council’s Rajbhasha (Official Language) Department, the initiative included a Hindi Sentence Formation and Translation Competition, encouraging participants to enhance their command of the language in a professional setting.
The programme introduced employees to Hindi typing and practical tools for using Hindi effectively in office documentation, including emails, notesheets, and official correspondence. More than 25 staff members from various GJEPC offices took part in the event, showcasing strong interest and enthusiasm for improving their Hindi communication skills.
The Council’s Rajbhasha Department reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Hindi through such initiatives, with plans to continue organising similar programmes to strengthen language proficiency and encourage its adoption in the workplace.
