During the third fiscal quarter ending 31, December 2009, Su-Raj Diamond accounted 24 percent growth in its net sales which amounted $158.1 million. In the said period, expenses increased by 23 percent to $153.3 million, and net profits rose five times to $3.1 million. %% Sales at the diamond unit increased 1 percent to $38.9 million, and profits before interest and tax in the diamond unit rose 47 percent to $1.2 million. The jewellery segment of the company saw a 34 percent increase in sales to $119.5 million, and profits before interest and tax increased 86 percent to $4.2 million. %% During the first nine months in the year, the company's sales rose 26 percent to $463.3 million, expenses by 26 percent to $449.6 million and net profits spurred up 46 percent to $8.6 million.
