SAIF Zone Welcomes Indian Delegation to Strengthen Gold & Jewellery Investments

The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) has received a high-profile delegation from India, comprising over 60 representatives from leading gold and jewellery companies, to explore investment opportunities and enhance bilateral trade

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to SAIF Zone’s advanced infrastructure, investment incentives, and logistics ecosystem, which provide seamless access to regional and global markets. Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of SAIF Zone, along with senior officials, highlighted the free zone’s competitive advantages, including cost-effective operations, strategic location, and state-of-the-art industrial facilities.

The delegation toured the Gold, Diamond & Commodities Park, home to more than 55 gold refineries and 250 specialised companies. Delegates expressed their appreciation for SAIF Zone’s robust business environment, affirming its role as a prime destination for gold and jewellery enterprises.

Al Mazrouei reaffirmed SAIF Zone’s commitment to fostering global partnerships and attracting investments in the gold and jewellery sector. He invited Indian businesses to capitalise on the free zone’s offerings to expand their international footprint.

The visit is expected to boost economic collaboration between Sharjah and India, reinforcing SAIF Zone’s position as a hub for gold and jewellery trade in the region.
